Buried deep in the basement of Stratford Youth Zone are a series of undocumented files. The explorers are on a mission, a mission to reveal the truth beneath the dust.
Untold Stories: Freak Shows explores stories of 19th Century disabled side-show performers. In this performance, the Blue Sky Actors experiment with form, puppetry, and physical movement to amplify side-show performers' stories and shed some light on their life experiences outside of the circus tent.

Join us on a journey through the past to explore some features which have fuelled the BSA throughout its years.
Guided by a strangely familiar narrator, we travel to five different places, five different groups, five different points in time that not too many people have heard of.
Untold Stories is produced and programmed by The Blue Sky Actors (not by Stratford East).
About Blue Sky Actors
The Blue Sky Actors are a company of established and emerging disabled actors run by Face Front Inclusive Theatre. BSA meets on a weekly basis and produces two to three inclusive productions per year; these shows vary in content from adaptations of well-known stories to new pieces of writing but are ultimately entertaining, informative, and educational. The group works collaboratively with a strong focus on ensemble work within their shows, in addition to catchy soundtracks and impressive dance moves! As well as working towards performances, BSA also provides opportunities for learning new skills and support with CV writing to encourage both personal and professional artistic development.
