Built in 1884, Stratford East is a beautiful and historic building with a variety of spaces available for hire. 

Whether you are looking to use our Victorian-era auditorium for a characterful filming or photoshoot location, one of our rehearsal rooms to build a new piece of work, or our charming library space for a meeting, you are well catered for at Stratford East. 

Stratford is located in Zone 2 with excellent transport links including Underground, Elizabeth Line and National Rail, making it easy to reach wherever you are travelling from. 

Please note that we do not hire the auditorium for professional theatrical pieces, so as to avoid any clashes with our wider programming. If you are looking to bring such work to the theatre then please contact our Artistic team at theatreroyal@stratfordeast.com.
