Playwrights Beyond Borders celebrate's London’s multicultural riches through the craft of the playwright.

Showcasing the work of seven playwrights from transcultural backgrounds, the brand new Theatre Royal Stratford East Studio, will transform into an international space in the heart of London’s East End, where theatre, music and community overcome all borders.

An anthropological tour of imagined tribes and their marital customs. A search for a long lost love. A grocery list? Inspired by the writings of Italian fabulist novelist Italo Calvino, Christopher Chen enlists his own unreliable narrators to take us on a kaleidoscopic, mind-bending, and ultimately luminous journey of the soul.
