Returning to its home at Theatre Royal Stratford East, MonologueSlam UK brings you the newest and most exciting talent in the UK!
MonologueSlam is a nationwide industry showcase for actors from all backgrounds. 22 actors are given the opportunity to perform for a welcoming audience and a panel of industry professionals who are in a position to move their careers forward. This event helps performers that may not have access to the usual routes into the industry and provides agents and casting directors with an avenue to source fresh talent.
The show consists of a youth round (performers aged between 11-17) 1 minute round and 3 minute round, where each actor will perform a monologue of their choice.
December’s MonologueSlam is the National Final, where winners of MonologueSlam 2017 throughout the regions (and London) are all invited to perform once again.
Concessions: Available for children, disabled people, equity members, full time students, 65+ and unwaged.
