A rare first look at a brand new dynamic one-woman original musical celebrating the life and legacy of Joan Littlewood, the maverick theatre director who revolutionised British theatre and was the former Artistic Director at Stratford East from 1953 – 1974.
Through a vibrant blend of original songs, storytelling, and humour, JOAN: A MUSICAL brings to life Littlewood’s radical vision, fierce wit, and lasting impact on the stage. Playful, and full of heart, this intimate musical tribute captures the spirit of a true theatrical trailblazer.
This 'rough theatre' presentation has been commissioned as part of our 140th anniversary celebrations.
