EmpowerHouse

Newham Asian Women's Project and Two Monkeys TV present a night of poetry and theatre to raise awareness of violence against women and children and to celebrate, through non-violent communication, protest and activism, a world of peace, respectful co-existence and social change.

This is a charity fundraiser for Newham Asian Women's Project, a grassroots organisation established in 1987 to protect, promote and safeguard the rights of women and children affected by violence.

The event falls just before 16 days of action and it is hosted by Meera Syal

Support the event and support women and children to create a world safe from abuse.
