Birthmarked

Birthmarked

Birthmarked, the award-winning gig-musical comes to Stratford East. Brook Tate, an ex-Jehovah's Witness, moves audiences in this true story of rebuilding his life after losing everything he once believed to be true.
With original music performed with his onstage band, Tate weaves the crafts of songwriter, storyteller and draf artist into a performance that is unlike any other. Alongside a whale, a zebra, and the direction of Olivier Award-winning director Sally Cookson, Brook Tate hopes to shine a light on what it means to be marked... at birth.
