The Stratford East Singers (SES) are a choir that has spent more than 15 years redefining what it means to be a community ensemble.
Led by Creative Director Byron Gold, this exceptional group returns to Theatre Royal Stratford East this October for an uplifting evening of live music. Audiences can look forward to a diverse programme spanning UK Garage, Musical Theatre, Dance and Classic R&B, alongside original compositions, all performed with a live band.
SES have been featured on the BBC’s The One Show, ITV’s The X-Factor and were placed second runner-up in the original series of The Naked Choir, hosted by Gareth Malone.
Boasting a repertoire as diverse as its members, the singers will lead audiences on an uplifting journey of music, song, and dance, creating a evening of captivating entertainment.

Group Bookings
If you buy nine standard rate tickets then you get the 10th free. Group bookings (of nine or more tickets) can only be booked over the phone or in person.
Booking Enquiries
Our online booking system doesn’t allow customers to leave isolated seats. We do this in order to prevent gaps in the auditorium.
Currently seats are on sale from Row B in the stalls, and it is possible that Row A will go on sale at a later date, so please be aware that purchasing seats in Row B does not guarantee that you will be in the front row.
Please note that our boxes have a slightly restricted view. Seats marked with an ‘i’ on the seating plan have a restricted view.
