- Setting up a taskforce to hold the organisation to account and identify where the organisation is not responding well enough.
- Creating a new framework for data collection, to allow us to identify areas of weakness and ongoing patterns.
- Increasing representation across all areas of our workforce, focusing initially on senior management and middle management and aiming for both to be truly representative of London within four years.
- Ensuring that there are mechanisms of support for people of colour to ensure that their voices are heard, and that there are safe ways for them to report institutional racism and discrimination, and that all staff working at Stratford East are aware of these processes.
- Working with our local Council on their Community Wealth Building agenda, supporting their endeavour to dismantle social inequalities.
- Committing to at least 40% of all cast and creative teams being people of colour each year, and 50% of Writers and Directors.
