In line with the most recent government advice on the COVID-19 outbreak, Stratford East has closed our beloved theatre to the public until further notice.

The health and well-being of our community, audiences, artists and staff is our biggest priority during these extraordinary and uncertain times. We will be in touch with all ticket holders for upcoming productions shortly.

For almost 140 years, Stratford East has been an essential part of London’s East End. Our team is determined to pull together to survive this crisis, so that we can continue to provide much needed entertainment and support to our community, long after this is over.

To do this we need your help.

We are a registered charity and are so grateful for the public funding we receive. A great deal of our income, however, relies on the tickets to our shows being bought by people like you. We are now asking for your support at a difficult time for our industry.
