We’re thrilled to announce the cast and creative team for Stratford East’s fantastic festive pantomime, PINOCCHIO. We’re returning to our classic pantomime team for our 140th anniversary, and we can’t wait to transport you to the incredible world of Stratty Ash this Christmas.
Our wooden puppet Pinocchio will be played by Dylan Collymore, alongside his toy-maker father Geppetto, played by Tok Morakinyo. Pinocchio will be joined on his adventures by Nicole Louise-Lewis as Krik Krak and Blue Rinse Fairy, our fabulous dame, who will be portrayed by Stratford East favourite, Michael Bertenshaw.
They’ll encounter a number of friends and villains on their quest to becoming a real-boy, including Rushand Chambers as Sly Fox, Charlotte Louise as Ella and Taylor, Jhanaica Van Mook as Miss Kat and Travis Wood as Lampwick and Antonio.
The creative team is completed by Trish Cooke (Writer, book and lyrics), Robert Hyman (Music and lyrics), Omar F. Okai (Director), Stewart J. Charlesworth (Set & Costume Design), Bretta Gerecke ( Lighting Design), Gareth Fry (Sound Design), Nick Barstow (Musical Director), Claudimar Neto (Choreography), Abz Kareem (Assistant Choreographer), Jill Green CDG (Casting Consultant) and Sadie-Jean Shirley (Assistant Director).
