We're incredibly excited to introduce the extraordinary cast and creative team for our upcoming community production of William Shakespeare’s ROMEO & JULIET. This unique staging, a co-production with Sadler’s Wells, has been specially adapted by Kwame Owusu and is co-directed by the brilliant Emily Ling Williams and Malik Nashad Sharpe.
Playing at Stratford East from Thu 07 to Sat 09 Aug, our production brings together a vibrant mix of talent: dedicated young artists, two seasoned professional actors, and passionate members of the local Newham community. It's a true celebration of local creativity and energy.

Bringing this unique vision of ROMEO & JULIET to the stage requires a dedicated and talented creative team. Our Set and Costume Design is by Liam Bunster, with Lighting Design by Alex Fernandes, and Sound Design by Nicola T Chang. Movement is expertly guided by Malik Nashad Sharpe, who also serves as co-director, with BLUE MAKWANA as our Associate Choreographer. Roberta Zuric joins us as Associate Director, and Simone Watson-Brown is our Community Company Director, ensuring the heart of our community shines through. Production is managed by Josh Collins, and our Stage Management team includes Company Stage Manager Lois Sime, Deputy Stage Manager Roni Neale, and Assistant Stage Manager Charlotte Smith Baker.
