ASSOCIATE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
We are looking to appoint an experienced theatre Director to work closely with Artistic Director Lisa Spirling on the delivery of Stratford East’s vibrant and eclectic artistic programme. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of directing productions to a high standard in large or medium scale producing theatres and a desire to contribute, as part of the Senior Management Team, to the wider ecology of the organisation and the sector as a whole.

DEPUTY HEAD OF STAGE
To assist the Head of Stage in the running of the stage department at Theatre Royal Stratford East (TRSE) and to support the Head of Stage and Head of Production in facilitating the staging requirements for all TRSE productions, co-productions, one off events and hires. They will also deputise for the Head of Stage as needed.

FINANCE OFFICER (PURCHASE LEDGER)
The Finance Officer (Purchase Ledger) will support the Financial Controller in the day-to-day running of the Finance Department and is responsible for maintaining the purchase ledgers. The role works across both Pioneer Theatres Ltd (‘Pioneer’) which trades as Theatre Royal Stratford East and Stratford East (Trading) Limited (‘SET’) which is a trading subsidiary of Pioneer.  

The Finance Officer (Purchase Ledger) is one of two Finance Officer Roles (the other one has a payroll focus) within a small team of four. The Finance Officer (Purchase Ledger) will also occasionally support the work of the Finance Officer (Payroll).

FINANCE OFFICER (PAYROLL)
The Finance Officer (Payroll) will support the Financial Controller in the day-to-day running of the Finance Department. They are responsible for maintaining payroll in partnership with an external company, reconciling the bank accounts and petty cash. The role works across both Pioneer Theatres Ltd (‘Pioneer’) which trades as Theatre Royal Stratford East and Stratford East (Trading) Limited (‘SET’) which is a trading subsidiary of Pioneer. The appointed candidate will have brilliant personnel skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff who may not use financial terminology, alongside effective communication with external parties.

The Finance Officer (Payroll) is one of two Finance Officer roles (the other one has a Purchase Ledger focus) within a small team of four. The Finance Officer (Payroll) will also occasionally support the work of the Finance Officer (Purchase Ledger).

HEAD OF PRODUCTION
The Head of Production leads the production department to support the creation and delivery of great theatre. They will be responsible for overseeing the successful staging of Stratford East and visiting company productions, our one night events programme, and will work with our Learning & Participation team to support the delivery of their on stage work and our Young Technicians programme.

They hold overall production management responsibility for most in house productions (up to 5 productions a year) including working alongside the creative team, scheduling and managing the production process, leading production meetings, allocating and managing production budgets, schedules and show staff.

FREELANCE TECHNICAL STAFF
We are always looking for freelance technical staff of all disciplines - Stage, Lighting, Sound, Wardrobe, Stage Management, Scenic Construction, Scenic Art - to join us and help support our Production department in facilitating our shows.
