Stratford East Singers 
Stratford East Singers are our singing group, made up of all ages and abilities. Led by soul singer Byron Gold, the group meets every Weds 7pm - 9.30pm at the theatre. Since they formed in October 2011, Stratford East Singers have gone from strength to strength with over 135 people taking part so far. They have performed at a variety of different of theatre shows and cultural events including BABELThe Harder They Come concertHeartfelt and BT's River of Music event. They have also appeared alongside Fleur East on ITV's X Factor in 2015. Over 20,000 people have seem them perform in person.

SES Acapella
SES Acapella is a smaller group of vocalist taken for the Stratford East Singers. Formed by Byron Gold, the SES Acapella group specialise in singing without any form of musically backing (except microphones). Everything from a string section to a bass drum, the singers can replicate anything when performing their spin on acapella music. SES Acapella and Byron Gold are currently taking part in the BBC2 program 'The Naked Choir'. Hosted by choirmaster Gareth Malone, tune in to BBC2 Tuesday 9pm to find out more about the guys and to see them in action.
