Stratford & Cultural Quarter

Stratford is a diverse, vibrant area of London with lots to see and do.  Never been here before?  Learn how to get here by train, by car, or by foot.

Gerry's Kitchen
Directly opposite Theatre Workshop Bar in Gerry Raffles Square is Gerry's Kitchen. Recently opened it offers a selection of great coffees, delicious cakes and tasty homemade soups, sandwiches and wraps. With free wi-fi it's also a great space to meet, work and study.
Gerry's also has a theatre studio space in the back where you often see actors rehearsing and where we have been known to present a production or two

Stratford Picturehouse
We love our local cinema! Located just a few steps away from the theatre, the Picturehouse shows the latest films at great prices—plus the occasional revival and special event.  A cinema lover’s treat.

Stratford Circus
Our next-door neighbours showcase children's theatre, plus music, comedy, dance, and more!  There’s something for everyone at Stratford Circus.

Stratford Centre
Located directly behind the theatre, Stratford Centre is a bustling shopping centre with great shops and market stalls.  Stratford Centre features shops such as Boots, Dorothy Perkins, New Look, Foot Locker, and more.

Discover Children’s Story Centre
Located on Stratford High Street, Discover Children’s Story Centre is London’s only children’s museum and a great place to visit on a family day out.  Perfect for curious and creative children aged 0-11 and their families.

King Eddie’s
The King Edward VII, or ‘King Eddie’s’ as it is affectionately known, is a lovely little pub set on Stratford High Street.  With cozy corners and a friendly atmosphere, King Eddie’s is the perfect place for a drink with friends or a hearty pub meal.

Westfield Stratford City
Westfield Stratford City, Europe’s largest urban shopping centre, is a Stratford must-visit, and has all your favourite high street shops, a wide variety of restaurants and eateries, and unique touches like the Great Eastern Market.

See the Olympic parks
The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games were staged at the
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. During your visit you can stand on top of the world in the UK’s tallest sculpture the ArcelorMittal Orbit (designed by Sir Anish Kapoor) and ride down the world’s tallest and longest tunnel slide at 15 miles per hour!
