Grey Matters at the Roundhouse

Last month the Theatre Royal Stratford East Young Spoken Word Company brought you GREY MATTERS in Gerry’s, our intimate studio space. We’re proud to announce that their poetic exploration of well-being and mental health is going on to be part of the Last Word Festival at the Roundhouse.

This young company have connected with people from all walks of life, listening to their experiences of mental health and discovering their own relationship to well-being. Their poetry and theatre bring to life the taboo words, thoughts and feelings many have tried to silence. Surprising, uplifting and challenging. GREY MATTERS was first performed in Gerry’s Studio on 9th April 2017. It is directed by Kat Francois (playwright and former World and BBC 3 TV Slam Champion,) with visual contributions from Bobby Baker (Artistic Director, Daily Life.)
