Celebrate a year of outstanding achievement with us as we combine the energy of Nigerian Sport and Culture with distinctive Nigerian products.
The exchange at Nigeria House will also include films, Nigerian plays and poetry, Music from some of Nigeria's top acts and exhibitions of
Nigerian products, including arts and crafts.

'Art Olympics Competition' for Newham Primary Schools'
Here at Theatre Royal Stratford East we ran an Arts Olympics Competition for Newham primary schools (open to Years 3-6) to encourage them to interact with and be inspired by Nigerian life and art.
This was to design a poster celebrating Nigeria - Newham Together during the 2012 London Games.
Some of the key points to think about were:
- What makes Newham special to you?
- What do you love about living in Newham?
- What are you excited about during the games?
- What do you think represents Nigeria - Newham Together?
All mixed media could be used and applicants could submit their work in A3 or A4.
We had a number of competition entrants from which we decided on the final 26.
This was then shortlisted to the final 15 and from this our runner up and winner were chosen.
The Winner was Maisha Hussain of Upton Cross Primary School.
