Develop and lead a workshop for young people

DATE: Saturday 25th March and Sunday 26th March 2017
TIME: 10am – 4pm
COURSE FEE: £70 for the two days
Suitable for: Writers, Directors and Performers that create plays for young audiences.

There is increasingly a demand on writers, directors and performers to provide workshops to explore their play, widen participation and enrich the theatre experience. On completion of the course you will have the knowledge and skills to develop and deliver interactive and engaging workshops to explore your play with children and young people.

The course will cover:
Building relationships with schools and the youth sector
Facilitation Frameworks and Workshop structures
Timings, pacing, communication styles
Participants' needs
Safeguarding and Child Protection
